Samia joined the Young Conservatives and Discourse Collective debate on immigration. Immigration, both legal and illegal, is far too high and poses significant challenges for public services, infrastructure, and social cohesion.
Our immigration system is in urgent need of reform, with fairness and control at its heart. Our current system is not equipped to meet the challenges of modern life and globalisation.
We need to legislate for a migration cap, restrict visas, close asylum hotels, repeal and replace the Human Rights Act and leave the European Convention on Human Rights.
